Updated: Nov 4, 2022

The last two years, our Director, Fortunate, has worked tirelessly to keep operations going smoothly. This year, we hired an assistant to help keep things running. Meet Judith Ansiingwize. Judith graduated in 2021 from Uganda Christian University with a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Management. She has prior experience working with non-profit organizations in Uganda, and is excited to be working with Margaret & Emma Uganda. We are so happy to have Judith on our team, and we look forward to growing our organization with her help.

From Judith:

"Helping and empowering vulnerable women is one of the most exciting things I like to do in life and I have always hoped and prayed one day to work for an organization that aimed at empowering women. until I was hired as an Administrative Assistant at Margaret & Emma Uganda where the organization’s major aim is to empower vulnerable women of Uganda to fight against absolute poverty.

So far the one month I have finished at the organization I can testify the great work done by the organization towards helping and empowering vulnerable women of Uganda lifetime skills to fight against absolute poverty.Yes, we have travelled to different places around Kigezi to impact skills to these women in Ikumba, Nyamiyaga in Rubanda district and also Mwanjari in Kabale district of which I have enjoyed most because I have met different categories of women and having close conversations with them is always enjoyable.

Big thanks to the Executive Director Ms. Natukunda Fortunate the always smiling lady who has kept the smooth running of the organization and a very good workmate to be with all day. God bless you.

Great thanks to the founder of the organization Ms. Racheal Simms who has wholeheartedly helped the vulnerable women of Uganda to fight against absolute poverty. God bless you richly. Then the Board of Directors who have managed the organization well towards achieving the set goals and objectives. Well done!

Yes! Together women can live productive and healthy lives free from absolute poverty."
